Best College Spring Break Destinations To Travel To From Phoenix, AZ

January 30, 2019

February is fast approaching and soon after starts the vigorous Spring Break Travel Season. If you are a college student right now, this is what you wait all year for. Spring break usually brings about debauchery, lifelong memories, and an opportunity to get in some great adventures with the people who have become your family over the year. The pressing question remains the same from coast to coast, “Where is the best place to go for spring break?”

A great option for travelers leaving from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is Vegas! Not to mention it is only a short flight, drive, or train ride away. Vegas is the ultimate spring break destination with, thrill rides, adventure treks, amazing spring weather, pool parties galore, and tons of accommodation option both on and off the strip. And the best part is, you don’t need a passport.

Tips From A Travel Agent:

*The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is the BEST option for spring break. They have 1, 2, and 3 bedroom options that will allow for multiple people to sleep comfortably, Full kitchens that can help with the amount of money spent eating out, and they are located within walking distance of the strip so a car is never really needed, even if you skip the complimentary shuttle service.

Another great idea for college spring breakers is taking a cruise. Although, if you haven’t already booked your cruise by now, the cost is only going to skyrocket by the time spring break comes around. It isn’t too late just yet. If you can get deposits in by February 16th in most cases, you will still have a few weeks to pay before spring break. Cruises out of Orlando, Los Angeles, and Galveston have great flight cost

Tips From A Travel Agent:

*You will need a passport to go on any cruise vacation. If you don’t have one yet, you can click the link under Travel Documents and it will walk you through the steps of obtaining a passport. Also you must be at least 21 years old to be the primary guest in a cabin, and spring for the drink package AT ALL TIMES. Drinks in international waters are 4X the cost. A Drink package will have you covered either way. Also the Norwegian Sky cruise ship come with the drink package included in the cost of the vacation.

Finally, All-Inclusive Vacations. There are a variety of locations to choose from. During spring break, Cancun, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Los Cabos, Mexico; and Jamaica will have the largest concentration of fellow college peers. The beaches at these location as well as the low cost of accommodations and lowered drinking age, make these ideals for the “Turn Up” crowd.

Tips From A Travel Agent:

*All Inclusives do have hidden fees. Be sure to ask your agent, or check the accommodations yourself before you leave as to avoid being turned away at the hotel, with no way to get home for an entire week.
